Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
Everyone deserves a space where they can show up as themselves.
At The Relationship Space, I believe that meaningful relationships begin with feeling seen, heard, and respected. Therapy should be a place where you don't have to edit yourself, explain your humanity, or wonder whether your experiences will be understood.
I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe to bring their whole selves into the room. My role is not to make assumptions or tell you who you should be. Instead, I approach therapy with curiosity, humility, and respect for the experiences that have shaped your life.
My Commitment
I welcome clients of all races, ethnicities, cultures, religions, spiritual backgrounds, gender identities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, relationship structures, abilities, body sizes, ages, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
I recognize that our identities and lived experiences influence the way we move through the world and the way we experience our relationships. Together, we can explore these experiences with openness and compassion, honoring both your personal story and the broader systems that may have shaped it.
Inclusive Relationship Care
Relationships don't all look the same, and they don't have to.
Whether you're dating, engaged, married, divorced, co-parenting, navigating family relationships, exploring your identity, or building relationships that fall outside traditional expectations, you deserve care that meets you where you are.
I affirm and welcome LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, interracial and intercultural relationships, consensually non-monogamous relationships, blended families, chosen families, and people whose experiences may not fit neatly into conventional definitions of relationships.
My goal is never to determine what your relationships should look like. Instead, we'll explore what feels authentic, healthy, and meaningful for you.
A Commitment to Learning
I recognize that I won't always have every answer or fully understand every lived experience.
Inclusive care is not a destination but an ongoing practice of learning, listening, reflecting, and growing. I am committed to continuing my education, seeking consultation when appropriate, and remaining open to feedback so I can provide thoughtful and culturally responsive care.
If I make a mistake, I hope you'll feel comfortable letting me know. Therapy works best when there is room for honesty, repair, and mutual respect.
You Belong Here
At its heart, The Relationship Space is built on the belief that relationships thrive when people feel safe enough to be themselves.
Whether you're seeking support as an individual, a couple, or a family, my hope is that you'll find a space where you can explore your experiences without fear of judgment, move toward greater understanding, and build relationships that feel authentic, connected, and true to who you are.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. You simply have to arrive as you are.
